What is Kour.io?
Kour.io is a browser-based .io FPS built around earning KP (Kour Points) by racking up kills and finishing missions. KP funds cosmetic unlocks: skins, crates, hats, characters, and emotes. You level up as you play, opening more content over time. A clan system lets you team up with friends, and global leaderboards track daily, monthly, and all-time standings. A built-in map editor means you can build and share your own arenas.
Controls and movement
All core actions are keyboard and mouse on desktop. The dash (E) and crouch (Shift or C) are worth learning early since they change your hitbox and speed.

Game modes
Kour.io ships with eight official modes plus community-made ones. Hardpoint and Team Deathmatch reward coordination; Gun Game and ParKour are good for solo players who want something different.

Characters and weapons
Nine characters are available from the start, each carrying a fixed weapon and health pool. Four more unlock if you hit 10+ kills in a match: Juggernaut (Minigun, 100 HP), Recon (Vector, 80 HP), Pyro (Flamethrower, 100 HP), and Rayblader (Laser Gun, 110 HP). The Investor is free with an ad watch. Heavy (150 HP) and Brawler (120 HP) have the most durability; Recon (80 HP) is the squishiest but fast.
Tips for climbing the leaderboard
- Walk through green laser zones to trigger the speed boost before a fight.
- Match your character to the map: Hitman and Soldier shine on long sightlines, Brawler and Heavy dominate tight corridors.
- Dash (E) mid-fight to break aim tracking and reposition.
- Missions stack KP on top of kills, so check active missions before queuing.
- Use the map editor to learn layout sight lines before playing them competitively.
