Smash Karts is a free multiplayer kart battle game you play in your browser. You drive a little kart around an arena, grab weapon boxes, and blow up everyone else before they do the same to you. Each match is a short, fast deathmatch against real players.
There is no track and no laps. The whole point is the fight. Rounds last about three minutes, kills earn you XP, and the XP unlocks new karts, characters, and hats over time.

What is Smash Karts?
It is a top-down 3D arena shooter on wheels. You and a lobby of other players spawn into a small map, and weapon boxes keep appearing around it. Drive over a box, get a random weapon, and use it before the next one swaps it out. Whoever racks up the most kills before the timer runs out wins the round. Then it resets and you go again.
How to play
Driving is simple. Doing well under fire is the hard part, because you steer and aim at the same time. Your weapon fires in the direction the kart is facing, so line up the nose before you shoot.

Grabbing weapons
You start each life unarmed, so your first move is always to reach a weapon box. Boxes drop a random weapon, and picking up a new one replaces what you are holding. Watch what you grab before you commit to a fight.

The weapon you pull decides how you play the next few seconds. None of them last long, so use a strong one quickly instead of saving it.

Leveling up and unlocks
Kills and matches earn XP. As you level up you unlock new karts, characters, and cosmetic hats. The unlocks are about looks, not power, so a fresh player and a maxed one drive the same. You are competing on aim and positioning, not on gear.
Tips for winning more rounds
- Keep moving. A still kart is an easy target, and most shots only hit what is in front of the shooter.
- Grab boxes constantly, even mid-fight. Running unarmed is how most deaths happen.
- Aim with your body. Point the kart at the target before firing, since weapons shoot straight ahead.
- Use corners and walls to break line of sight when you are low or unarmed.
- Drop mines while being chased instead of trading shots you might lose.
What makes it fun
Matches are short and the rounds reset fast, so a bad start costs you almost nothing and a good streak feels great. There is no setup, no track to learn, and no grind that changes the balance. You drop in, fight for three minutes, and go again. That quick loop is what keeps it open in a tab.
